BLOCBIRDS is a tribute to ordinary birds that reveal their true beauty only when you really look. 25 graphic reflections of 25 European birds.

The amount of color, the variety and kinship of those colors, as well as their placement, give each bird its unique, characteristic plumage. Over the course of a year and a half, we translated the colored feathers of European birds into inspiring illustrations using only squares — registration instead of emotion. With mathematical precision, we searched for the perfect composition: the right balance of color while keeping each bird recognizable.
